About MZA

MZA grew out of the need for complete, straightforward, and understandable solutions to complex building problems. The firm was started by Roger G. Morse AIA in 1982 to apply high technology to the practice of architecture. After several business iterations, the firm became Morse Associates in 1998. Dean A. Zehnter, who has worked with Roger Morse for many years, played a major role in growing the business and expanding its technical capabilities. The two formed Morse Zehnter Associates (MZA) in 2003 as an architectural/engineering/industrial hygiene practice focusing on HVAC, forensic, and environmental issues. The MZA team of design, engineering and environmental professionals has grown tremendously as the result of attracting many outstanding associates to work on numerous high-profile projects.

Morse Zehnter Associates is nationally recognized for our expertise in mechanical engineering, construction/mechanical defect analysis, indoor environmental quality, mold/moisture dynamics, and asbestos remediation. MZA has carved a niche for itself by providing comprehensive investigative, design and support services that are needed to provide permanent solutions to problems related to indoor air quality, environmental and forensic issues, building design, construction and facility management.
